I originally stayed at Esthwaite about 3 yrs ago and have returned every year since. It is always well maintained, clean, fresh and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable, enabling a good nights sleep for the following days adventures. The lodge is in a beautiful part of Limefitt with the beck flowing directly in front. Limefitt park is peaceful and again always well maintained and clean. A wonderful place to recharge, body and soul. Guest , Bolton

Our Stay at Esthwaite Lodge

We had a perfect time. The lodge was like a home from home but in a beautiful setting. Being right by the waters edge on Trout beck was brilliant and the sound of running water was very relaxing indeed. We were so surprised by the perfect presentation of the lodge and absolutely everything had been thought of. We brought loads of stuff that ended up going back in the car as it was provided. There were board games and dozens of DVD's to choose from. We brought our dog with us and found the enclosed decked area a real bonus as it meant she could come in and out as she pleased and we had no fear of her running off. We used the dog field which was enclosed and the walks were made more enjoyable by the stream pool where the dog spent hours paddling around chasing sticks. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. We have booked again for next July and would recommend to friends and family. In fact our parents are coming in June2015 following their midweek visit to see us. Many Thanks to the owners of Esthwaite for providing a perfect base ti enjoy the lakes or just stay in and relax. Darren & Sonia Guest , Pontefract

We have been regular visitors to LimeFitt over the last three years and our lodge of choice is Esthawite. It is one of the newest, best maintained and equiped lodges. The lodge itself has a great position next to the stream and opposite an open field. Guest , Sale

I knew I loved Limefitt Park on my first visit due to the peace and quiet, beautiful surroundings and well kept grounds but I tried at least three other lodges before I found my perfect place, Esthwaite Lodge. I have now stayed at Esthwaite on 5 occasions and am already looking forward to number 6. It is in a beautiful setting and in what I consider to be one of the best positions, with the beck and green fields directly in front; ceiling to floor window in the lounge allows you to enjoy the views to their full potential. The lodge itself is beautiful, modern, comfortable, well maintained, well equipped and is obviously cared for. It has been wonderful to find a place that just because I like to take my Westies away with me, i don't feel I am walking into what can be typical of dog friendly accommodation (hairy carpets and damp dog smells) At Esthwaite, I walk into a clean, fresh smelling lodge every time. A real home from home. Guest , Bolton
